CLIENT: Epic Rides Nepal

LOCATION: Kathmandu / Annapurna circuit, Nepal

ROLE: Photo, video, marketing collateral

ASK: Epic Rides is a mountain bike tour company based in Kathmandu, Nepal, whose expert local guides help tourists experience the beauty of Nepal’s extensive trail system in the Himalaya and Annapurna ranges. Many of these trails are at 12,000-13,000 ft elevation, in rural areas. They work closely with Portal Bikes, another Nepal-based non-profit.

SOLUTION: I worked with Epic Rides over three weeks to produce photo and video content that tells the story of their mountain bike adventures. They wanted visuals for their website, marketing campaigns, and social media accounts that highlight the stunning, unique landscape and culture, and inspire potential clients to visit Nepal for the adventure of a lifetime.

To accomplish their goals, I hiked these high-altitude trail systems with my backpack of camera gear, occasionally shooting from horseback to keep pace with the riders.
