In my spare time, I’m a novelist represented by a literary agency, a parent, a gardener who’s passionate about conservation + renewable energy, and a hobby mechanic who loves working on my vintage monster truck.

“She’ll do anything to get the shot”

A non-exhaustive list of things I’ve done while shooting:

-shot from horseback at 13,000 ft in the Annapurnas

-waded into an icy river

-backed into a cactus

-climbed a rock face with camera in hand

-gotten charged by a bull elephant

-fought off a rattlesnake with a tripod leg

-used my 70-200 telephoto lens as a weapon to save an eight year old from a monkey attack
